Quirky Sweetheart Spitfire × Low-Key Laid-Back Slacker
I just wanted to lie flat and do nothing forever — until she crashed into my capsule pod like a glitch in the system.
Hu Lai is a burnt-out dropout from the rat race, living his quiet, energy-saving life in a capsule hotel — bothering no one, going nowhere.
Then one day, mega-extrovert and walking chaos engine Ruan Xiaoqi barges straight into his world.
A love story between a quirky, wide-eyed spitfire and a deadpan capsule-hotel hermit — starts now.
Ruan Xiaoqi An ultra-extroverted, zero-boundaries sweetheart with a wild streak — nicknamed "Little Grim Reaper" by those who know her. Her life philosophy is unclear, but she's always down to try anything, especially mystery unboxings. A surprisingly skilled corpse actor with a bizarre collection hobby and a mysterious treasure stash under her bed. About to graduate college — but has somehow already been working for half a year. A certified night owl. Seemingly clueless about romance, all bluster on the outside, but way more vulnerable than she looks.
Hu Lai Former grind-culture warrior. Current low-energy minimalist. Rumored to have once been a top-tier overachiever, but keeps it to himself. Works part-time as a tutor, stationed permanently at the capsule hotel. Easygoing, emotionally unshakeable, occasionally works out, keeps healthy hours. Talks tough, soft at heart, and deeply allergic to drama.

A lighthearted romance with a little something to think about
√ Late-night soul talks crammed inside a coffin-sized capsule pod (she does most of the talking).
√ A front-row seat to her life — daily highlights delivered with infectious enthusiasm (surprisingly healthy mindset).
√ Getting dragged along from the basketball court to the internet café — a reluctantly passionate life.
√ Facing a crisis when "home" is suddenly on the line — do you both run, or do you take it on together?
One heart: capable of being moved by simple, everyday joy.
A little resonance: you've either thought "whatever, good enough" — or screamed "just go for it!"
Some storage space: just enough to hold this warm, lively little story.
