Hu Yingying
A fox spirit who’s ditched the age-old seductive charms of her kin in favor of studying human-made romance techniques, all in pursuit of the purest essence.
Forget the old tales of scholars and seductresses—Yingying has her own romantic philosophy: she’ll only draw essence when her partner’s heart is truly pounding at 100%!
She can’t write human language, misuses idioms left and right, carries strange leaves etched with runes, and often does blush-inducing things regardless of the situation.
Her open and honest approach to love constantly throws the awkward protagonist off guard. But if it’ll make him smile—even just a little—she’ll give it her all.
Totally obsessed with the protagonist.
Her favorite thing in the world? The food he cooks.
