Some people prayed for a loved one to recover. Some vowed to return and fulfill their promises. Others would rather forget the promises they made.
You're the person they hire to make things right.
KAEBON is a horror game rooted in Thai beliefs and traditions. Across 13 nights, you'll take on jobs from people with unfulfilled vows. Read their letters, prepare offerings, and visit the places they're too afraid to return to themselves.
But what a client asks you to bring may not be what the one waiting truly wants. Look around, read what's been left behind, and pay attention to what's missing from the story.
When you fall asleep, dreams reveal moments from the lives of those connected to these places: their love, their fears, and the ordinary words someone never forgot.
Explore unsettling nighttime locations inspired by Thai life and beliefs.
Read letters and uncover clues to choose the right offerings for each ritual.
Each night, you read the job instructions, explore the location, and prepare a ritual before dawn. You need to choose the offerings, arrange them, and decide how many incense sticks to light. Once the work is done, you send the broker a photograph to collect your pay.
You'll use the client's budget to buy offerings, deciding what to bring and how much to spend. If you buy the wrong supplies, you can return to the shop, but every trip costs valuable time. The longer you spend exploring or travelling, the less time you'll have to complete the ritual before dawn.
They said it was simple: just leave it there… and come back.
KAEBON costs $6.39 right now. That's 20% off the regular price of $7.99.
