Blessing In The Darkness is a 2D turn-based survival dungeon crawler where every single step counts.
Cross treacherous dungeons teeming with dark and fiendish foes. Fighting under the eyes of Death itself, you will defy the army of evil to protect the glory of the Church and all who still live in the village. You control a brave cleric who has accepted this holy quest. Keep your faith, use your wisdom, and step forward to lead the light to victory!
"Evil is just an event between life and death."
In the middle ages, the Black Knight dominated the kingdom with his army of absolute evil, spreading chaos and darkness across the lands. In this forsaken place, there are few ways to survive—and many ways to die.
Chess-Like Tactical Combat: No lucky dice rolls. Combat is strictly requirement-based—if you have the right resource, you eliminate the foe and capture their tile.
Survival Horror Elements: Balance your attributes and manage limited resources to survive.
A Pure Challenge: Distinct stages, demanding pathways, unique boss encounters, and 30+ Steam Achievements built for true strategy enthusiasts.
Deep Retro Progression: Use Divine Items, improve skills, manage random ruse cards to subvert rules, and level up your attributes.
Atmospheric 2D Pixel Art: A dark, immersive visual style inspired by classic Game Boy aesthetics, complete with a powerful, haunting soundtrack and a reactive retro HUD.
Try to never run out of light during your journey!
The game saves automatically at the end of each dungeon after defeating a boss.
